Water Quality Improvement and Promotion of Hygiene (WAQIPH) Project

UNICEF was requested to float RFPs from reputed Agencies / Organizations / NGOs / INGOs for Sanitary Inspection survey and Hygiene promotion components.

Sanitary Inspection Survey of about 3500 water sources is to be carried out (which includes water quality testing, GPS coordinates, site plans, pictures and BOQs of civil works for source improvement, if required).


Web application tool named WAQIPH developed to manage & monitor the Water Quality Improvement & Promotion of Hygiene. It is in operation since April 2010.

Role: Analysis, Design,  Development & Testing, and Implementation.


  ERRA Telephone Directory (ETD)

A directory of telephone subscribers list having their names, telephone numbers and often their addresses. A telephone directory (also called a telephone book and phone book) is listing of telephone subscribers (one who using phone number) in a geographical area or provided by the organization that publishes the directory. This directory software provides a core set of functionality for an organization.


All ERRA users can use the telephone directory to find out someone’s Name, Full Designation, Branch, Office #, Fax # and Email Address using following ways;

Ø  Simply by go through public available list manually. Directory is listed in Branch/Wing/Office and designation order.

Ø  Enter individual’s name in text box (top left) and click Search button to find the best matches on bottom area.

Ø  Enter individual’s office phone # and click Search button to get the result.

Find list of staff/employees by the selection of Organization, Branch, Sub-Office, Location and Designation.

  ERRA Procurement Tracker (EPT)

It helps management to manage the procurement processes. Also keep track of various types of procurements like HR, Equipment, Vehicles, and Furniture & Fixture etc. Requisitioning agency can also track the current status of his request. It keeps records of Procured items and also explains current status of Specific Procurement, where the procurement is stopped.

Right now it is in Testing & Implementation stage.

Minutes of Meetings Manager (M3).

 Electronic record keeping of Minutes of all Meetings and the response is maintained. This software is designed to:

o   Monitor the progress of decisions taken in the meetings

o   Help Responders to provide online response

o   Facilitate responders by issuing reminders automatically

o   Carry out response analysis

o   Carry out reminders analysis

o   Maintain history of decisions

            It is in use by ERRA and its affiliates

Promotion of Rain Water Harvesting Project (PRWHP)

PRWHP is ERA WatSan project in which that install Rain Water harvesting system in 20 Union Council in KPK and AJ&K.They will install to 40000 houses of 20 UCs and 400 community buildings.

It is WatSan Project.

Web application tool named PRWHP developed to manage & monitor the Rain Water Harvesting Project.

ERRA Asset Management System (EAMS)

ERRA Procurement Department is responsible to procure different items such as Furniture, Electrical and Electronic equipments and maintain issue and receipt records of these items to various departments and individuals of ERRA. In order to overcome these issues it was decided to develop ERRA Asset Management System and all assets of ERRA will be maintained under a computerized application database. The system will keep record of assets with ERRA and will maintain issue and receipt for these assets. The system will also maintain asset usage information for management purpose.

Role: Analysis, Design, Development & Testing, and Implementation.

ERRA Transport Manager (ETM).            It will help transport officer and higher management to effectively manage/utilize the transport held by ERRA. It is operational now. It is planned for implementation from Oct 1, 2010.

ERRA Web Mapping Application

ERRA  Web Mapping Application is developed for show ERRA 12000 projects on Google MAPs on with the help of GIS web application. We Develop Shape Files of all ERRA Projects with GPS Coordinates and convert it into Latitude and Longitude. After shape files it convert into SQL 2008 SDE Tables with the help of Arc Catalog. After that we make GIS Service and these services call on web application that is developed in Visual Studio2008.

After that we create caching of all layers of data.
